I’ve posted this on the Warrior’s Forum and I thought I wanted to put the same review here. I didn’t want give too much review on Magic Article Submitter as it seems like the directories are not updated so that’s a big disappointment for me. Perhaps in the near future they will update their software and I hope to look at theirs again.

Article Demon (AD)
Pros

Clean user interface, the calendar scheduling is very neat

More comprehensive reporting

Able to setup pen names (Important to Article Dashboard)

More accurate category targeting (Lesser chance of submitting to wrong category)

Auto-creation of accounts

Allows reposting on failed directories

Cons

On average, I can submit to only 250-300+ directories

Quite a bit of preparation is needed before you can finally submit (like selecting exact categories for EACH directory)

Article Demon seems to run a queue which takes up quite a bit of time

Submission seems to be slower

Article Marketing Robot (AMR)
Pros

On average, I can submit to 800-900+ directories

Faster, simpler setup before I can submit

Cheaper by $50

Submission seems to be faster

Auto-creation of accounts

Shows how good are the directories with “Health Status”

Cons

Looks like every button is on the same screen, a little confusing at first

No proxy setting

Only one decapcher service available

No pen names setup

May have higher chance of sending to wrong category IF you define less than 6 catergories

It will create a cache HTML file for every submission you make. It can clutter the hard disk

Conclusion
AD has a more consumer-friendly software but it really lacking in the number of directories it has. If it has over 1,000 article directories I would really think it is a winner. Perhaps AD is still new, which is why they don’t have a lot of directories but I will definitely keep a look-out on new development of AD.

AMR is obviously a software developed by a hard-core developer, which explains why it doesn’t have a friendly interface. The submission is faster and it is has a lot of directories submitted. It’s strange why AD does not have proxy servers as some of the users will have higher chance of not able to submit due to IP blocking.

If I am one who believes in submitting to as many directories as possible, AMR would be my choice. If you are one who wants better management of the submission, AD would be your choice. And, AMR runs faster than AD.

So, which one will you choose? You decide.

People have been asking me: What have you been doing for the past few months? Well, to admit I was busy.

For the past few months I have been concentrating on Adsense, building websites and ranking them so that I can fulfill what I called “Residual Income”.

I thought it would be nice to show you the status of my Adsense earnings as at 31 October 2010:

(I took this screenshot at the point of Google’s time, 12.00am so that’s why “Today’s estimated earnings is $0)

That’s about $50+ per day. Not a lot, I would say but then this is almost residual. In a few months time I hope to show you my $100/day Adsense income.

However, an October update has caused a dropped in my earnings for the past one week of November so I will have to work hard to re-rank about 40% of my websites.

Since October 21/22(depending where you live), a number of people discovered that their websites are no longer ranking in the first page. This sparks a lot of confusion and discussions in many webmasters/Internet Marketing forum.

Google has not said anything about algorithm changes, it has just mentioned about indexing problems which they are trying to fix. This is a very vague reply from Google.

So what exactly is happening? From what I can gather, here’s what has happened:

1) Many sites ranking in the first page has dropped to the as low as 10th page

2) Many sites ranking in the first page right now are pretty low in quality

3) Many sites ranking in the first page are non-domain name pages (ie. www.mywebsite.com/keywords-here.html)

4) It happens across-board

5) Websites that has dropped in rankings are in 100% compliance with Google’s Webmaster Guidelines

6) Many believed that it is an error on Google side as they are adjustment to indexing problems

7) Others believed that Google has updated the Mayday issue and it has only been updated now

Google employees has mentioned in their webmaster forum that it is a change in algorithm, which many webmasters disagree

So what can we gather here? The best I can say is that we can only wait for the next 2-3 weeks, observe what has happened before we can come to a conclusion.

If this is really an algorithm change, I believe this is the biggest shake-up in the SEO arena.
